Minimum - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5 years of relevant quality improvement experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below.

Preferred - Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.


Work Experience:

Minimum - One year of experience coaching teams, facilitating quality improvement; or 3 years of experience working in a patient care or related job in a healthcare setting.

Preferred - Experience facilitating quality improvement in a health care setting,


Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with diverse teams representing various disciplines and all levels of staff.
  • Able to demonstrate strategic thinking to guide alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Able to handle medium to large scale projects involving multiple resources and spanning many months from start to finish.
  • Able to problem solve, make independent decisions, formulate reports, perform statistical analysis and interpret data.

Physical Requirements:  

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools.  Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.


Work Schedule:

This full-time, 40 hours per week position will work shifts scheduled Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
