Minimum - Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Previous experience handling conflict/dispute resolution or related experience
Preferred - One (1) year of health-related experience
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to gather information effectively, synthesizes it, and makes triage-related decisions (independently and/or with support from Patient Relations Coordinators & Director).
  • Ability to plan and organize the workflow in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to be self-directed in accomplishing the coordination and decision-making responsibilities of this position.  Ability to work with minimal supervision.


Physical Requirements:
Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools.  Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met. 
Work Schedule:
Full time,  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
