We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with Inpatient experience to:

  • Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to the adult or pediatric acute hospitals
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans
  • Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center
  • Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate others


Minimum - Bachelor’s degree  in Occupational Therapy 

Preferred - Master’s degree

Work Experience:

Minimum - Prior healthcare experience. 

Preferred - Two (2) years prior relevant experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin is required. Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator is required within 3 months of hire.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with a variety of equipment, including computer software, is required. 
  • Organization, time management, flexibility, and positive attitude are crucial to successful performance.  

Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is a Per Diem position with variable hours between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. Weekend and occasional holiday shift coverage is required.  Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
