Minimum - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


Work Experience:

Minimum - One year of OR, ICU or PACU nursing experience.

Preferred - One year experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center and scrub experience.


Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - State of Wisconsin RN licensure and CPR required. Telemetry Test passed within 6 months of hire date. ACLS required to be obtained within 12 months of hire date.

Preferred - CNOR Certification.


Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Possess good communication skills and the ability to maintain interactive/interpersonal relationships.

  • Possess a good working knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and legal aspects of nursing, and techniques, care and use of equipment used in an ambulatory surgery center setting.

  • Available and able to work on short notice (willingness to change hours as staffing needs require).

  • Adaptable to varied and quickly changing duties without requiring detailed or repeated instructions.

  • Must have ability to establish priorities in fulfillment of duties.

  • Professional demeanor.

  • Ability to work as a member of a team.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.


Work Schedule:

80% FTE – Monday-Friday (no call or weekends), 8 hour shifts. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
