Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Preferred - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field.


Work Experience:

Minimum - Three years of progressive financial management experience.  Demonstrated success in implementing a variety of business process initiatives. Three (3) years’ experience in planning and implementing projects.

Preferred - Progressive project management experience. Supervisory or management experience.

Five (5) years’ experience of progressive financial and or project management experience.


Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and be result oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills to include the understanding and documentation of business processes and the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Demonstrates effective communication with senior management, clinical, administrative, revenue cycle and operational customers, vendors, and external healthcare organizations.
  • Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Ability to provide leadership and promote teamwork.
  • Demonstrates ability to mentor staff and assist them in attaining desired results based on individual goals and objectives.
  • Consultative approach to working with users in assessing needs and requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with ease and efficiency.
  • Ability to effectively manage change.
  • Ability to learn computer and application skills as applicable to role
  • Ability to make judgments in demanding situations
  • Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work
  • Ability to logically organize details and manage multiple concurrent activities

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.


Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Additional hours as needed to meet operational needs.
