We are seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist to:
  • Support the business needs of UW Health.
  • Determine system requirements, process re-engineering issues, solution design, and implementation strategies.
Education:
Minimum - Bachelor's degree
Preferred - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field

Work Experience:
Minimum - Three years of progressive financial management experience. Demonstrated success in implementing a variety of business process initiatives. Three years’ experience in planning and implementing projects.
Preferred - Progressive project management experience. Supervisory or management experience. Five years’ experience of progressive financial and or project management experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and be result oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills to include the understanding and documentation of business processes and the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Schedule:
Full Time, 40 hours a week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
