Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Associates Degree.

Work Experience:

Three years experience in leadership of maintenance service of a technical nature. 

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred - Certified Hospital Constructor (CHC). Building Operators Certification (BOC).


Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

·    Understanding of various Computerized Building Automation systems principles, i.e., Johnson Controls or equivalent.

·    Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.

·    Knowledge and ability to understand and repair various building systems.

·    Basic understanding of Electric and HVAC principles.

·    Familiar with NFPA and OSHA regulatory codes.

·    Ability to motivate and supervise a team.

Physical Requirements:

Heavy: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.


Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 40 hours per week.  7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday.  Flexibility expected for on-call and scheduling of hours during weekdays/weekends/holidays. Will need to be available to PM/Night shift staff as needed.  Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
