UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing team of three physicians, part of a large medical group of more than 270 Providers. We are looking for a collaborative physician to provide comprehensive care for a broad range of gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional problems. Practice includes inpatient and outpatient care with the performance of general GI procedures at UW Health in Rockford, Ill., along with the opportunity to collaborate with the pediatric gastroenterology group at UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wis.
With a $130 million expansion of women’s and children’s services at UW Health, including the creation of a Level III NICU, UW Health’s growing portfolio of pediatric services will provide a busy community-based practice with pediatric subspecialists affiliated with a major academic medical center. As a teaching hospital, UW Health offers the opportunity to work with family practice residents and medical students, and the individual selected for this position will be eligible to apply for academic appointment at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford.
