Advanced Practice Provider: Cardiology

Position highlights

UW Health Northern Illinois seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join the busy cardiology team at our SwedishAmerican Heart Institute in Rockford, Ill.

We are looking for a dedicated candidate to provide our patients with high-quality care in a team-centered environment. The Advanced Practice Provider will be supported by our group as we continue to grow through new service lines and state-of-the-art procedures, including CardioMEMs and Watchman.

Your clinical support includes

  • Collaborating closely with our cardiology team, comprised of electrophysiologists and interventional, general and invasive cardiologists.
  • Schedule: Four 10s (four 10-hour days each week)
  • Generous stipend for weekend and holiday hospital rounding
  • Blended inpatient and outpatient practice: Providing care to patients in our Heart Institute Clinic and rounding on patients in our 350-bed hospital
