UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APRNs or PA-Cs) to join our dynamic Immediate Care team. As an essential member of our N Mulford Rd Immediate Care Clinic, located in Rockford, Ill., you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities and a passion for providing compassionate and efficient medical services.
Your clinical support includes the following:
- Diagnosing and treating common acute illnesses, injuries and minor medical conditions
- Performing medical procedures (including suturing and wound care)
- Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
As a UW Health in northern Illinois Advanced Practice Provider, you will join our team of more than 120 APPs who enjoy the following support:
- Transformation nursing leadership with Magnet recognition, shared governance and professional practice models and a full practice authority committee
- Professional Nurse Internship and Ambulatory Nurse Residency programs
- Robust onboarding program that supports transition to practice for NPs and PAs

- Competitive salary range (based on experience):
- $135,313 to $145,600

Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited PA program or completion of a master’s level advanced practice nurse program.
- Active APRN or PA license from the State of Illinois and an active DEA license, or the ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
