UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist who specializes in advanced cardiac imaging to join our group as we continue to grow in exciting new directions. Our cardiology team, comprised of nine physicians and four advanced practice providers, is known for being the preferred group for cardiac services in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We are at the forefront of cardiovascular innovation and are proud to offer advanced procedures and treatments to our patients.

Your clinical support includes the following:
- Dedicated UW Health Heart Hospital, with non-invasive lab for echocardiograms, TEEs, tilt table and stress tests
- Participation in the growth and development of new procedures and cardiac treatments, including CardioMEMS and Watchman, with plans to expand into TAVR
- APP support to streamline workflow and patient management
- Large built in referral base from more than 100 primary care providers in our medical group
- Opportunities to work with medical students and family medicine residents, as well as an academic appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford
- Excellent tertiary specialty support from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
Qualifications
- MD or DO; BC or BE in Cardiology
- Active license in the State of Illinois and an active DEA license, or the ability to apply for such a license prior to or upon hire.
