UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC Podiatrist to join our team in Rockford, Ill. The specialist group consists of four podiatrists working in clinics throughout the service area of UW Health in northern Illinois.

Job duties
- Examine, diagnose and treat foot, ankle and lower-leg disorders
- Perform surgeries to correct foot and ankle issues
- Prescribe medications, orthotics and physical therapy
- Conduct diagnostic tests such as X-rays and MRIs
- Treat injuries, infections and deformities of the foot and ankle
- Provide guidance on foot care and preventive measures
- Collaborate with other health care professionals for comprehensive treatment
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes-related foot complications
- Educate patients on proper footwear and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications
- DPM certification in Podiatric Medicine
- Active license in the State of Illinois and active DEA license, or the ability to apply for such licenses prior to or upon hire.

- $254,897 to $308,246
