Position highlights
UW Health Northern Illinois is currently seeking an APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with a background in endocrinology to provide patient care in our newly renovated Villagreen View Clinic, working collaboratively with our growing team of providers.
Your clinical support includes the following:
- Working alongside our team of three endocrinologists and one APP
- On-site certified diabetic educators, clinical dieticians and clinical pharmacists
- Working knowledge of the medical management of diabetes
- Familiarity with CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) and insulin pumps
- Passion for educating patients in managing their conditions
- Proficiency in MyChart messaging and communicating detail-oriented care plans to patients.
