UW Health Northern Illinois seeks an experienced Neonatologist to join our 32-bed Level III NICU team in the UW Health SwedishAmerican Women and Children’s Hospital in Rockford, Illinois.
Our Level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by a Neonatologist and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, who are part of a multidisciplinary team of caregivers providing excellent and cost-effective care to our smallest patients.
In this autonomous position, you will enjoy a practice which includes rounding to discuss and establish plan of care; performance of invasive procedures, and opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
Your clinical support includes:
- Team of 6 neonatologists and 6 NNPs.
- Over a dozen pediatric sub-specialists from UW Health are located in this beautiful facility and are available for consultation and collaboration.
- MFM collaboration and 24 hour in house OB hospitalist
