UW Health in northern Illinois seeks two BE/BC Otolaryngologists to join our community practice in Rockford, Illinois. As a member of our medical group, with over 100 primary care providers, you have the benefit of a built-in referral base from the area’s preferred healthcare provider.
These positions provide a busy comprehensive otolaryngology practice supporting the 280+ UW Health providers in northern Illinois.
As a member of our team, you will receive the following support and benefits:
- Full-service audiology services onsite including 3 AuDs, hearing aid center, newborn screening, CAP testing and balance/vertigo testing
- 15 modern surgical suites with block scheduling at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital
- 10- bed inpatient pediatric unit with pediatric hospitalist support in UW Health Women and Children’s Hospital
- Quaternary support from UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin
- 12-county regional referral area in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin
- Academic appointment and teaching with University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford
- APP support to streamline workflow and patient management
Qualifications
- MD or DO; BC or BE in Cardiology
- Active license in the State of Illinois and active DEA license, or the ability to apply for such licenses prior to or upon hire
