Applying to the Program

The Externship will start:  Tuesday, May 26,  2026 

Applications will be accepted beginning November 3, 2025 through January 5, 2026.

Attach the following documents with your online application:

• Resume
  • Include expected date of graduation
  • List all clinical courses you will have completed by May 2026.  Include course name and course number, facility (if known), hours completed  and expected completion date.
• Essay
  • Share a recent example from nursing clinicals that has affirmed your desire to pursue a career in nursing.
  • Share an example of a personal accomplishment that aligns with UW Health’s vison for delivering remarkable healthcare?
